The NYS/UUP Joint Labor-Management Committees are committed to assisting UUP represented employees who are considering a career transition either through retraining, career advancement, or professional development initiatives. NYS/Joint Labor-Management Funded Programs are available to assist employees dealing with various life issues:

• New York State Work-Life Services Program provides NYS employees with a network of resources to address their work, home, and life issues. http://www.worklife.state.ny.us/index.html

• New York State Employee Assistance Program is a peer assistance program sponsored by labor and management. It provides confidential information, assessment, and referral services to NYS employees and family members. http://www.worklife.state.ny.us/EAP/index.html

• NYS Balance is a confidential resource and referral service for executive branch NYS employees and their family.
