The New York State/United University Professions Joint Labor-Management Committees (JLMC) address mutually identified issues affecting the quality and productivity of the State University of New York (SUNY) system.
SPOTLIGHT ON PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT/LEADERSHIP
The New York State/United University Professions Executive Labor-Management Committees is pleased to announce training opportunities to further promote professional development for UUP represented employees which include a new professional development grant program and several courses being offered on a pilot basis SUNY system-wide.
NEW Professional Development Grant Program
The Professional Development Grant Program is intended to fund a professional development project or activity to assist three or more employees to develop their professional potential and to prepare for advancement. Eligibility is similar to the Individual Development Awards Programs. Awards may not exceed $2,500 per employee and a total of $15,000 per application. A 40% campus contribution is required for this Program. Additional information, eligibility requirements and the application process is provided under the Professional Development Committee.
SUNY System-Wide Pilot Training
Based on survey results and projects funded with New York State/United University Professions Joint Labor-Management
Committees’ funds, additional training opportunities are available for UUP represented employees.
